Winky's BXA Spring Cut-off Tool
Winky's BXA Spring Cut-off Tool. This tool is a result of years of testing. If a few simple guidelines are followed it's nearly foolproof.. Includes a needle oil bottle that puts the oil where its needed, on the workpiece not your shirt.
This tool is designed to work well at slightly less that 100 SFPM with and an autotfeed feed of .001" to .002" per chuck revolution. Tool stick-out needs to be 1-inch or slightly more to work properly.

General impression … love the quality and the completeness. I did not expect it to have a blade and especially did not expect the lubricant bottle. Only thing I felt was “missing” (truly a minor nit-pick, but wanted to pass it on if you you are going to send out a lot of them) was a *lock nut on height adjustment screw, but I’m more than happy to provide that as I felt the blade and bottle were far above and beyond what I was expecting. (Nut now included) - *Lock nut now included.

Mark, I received the cutoff tool in great shape. I have not had the chance to try it out but am looking forward to using it. Your workmanship is nothing short of outstanding. Good job!
Thank you. Keep up the good YouTube content.

It was impressively low drama. I’ve kinda stopped parting tool steel because it’s too touchy and nerve wracking. This was easy though!

Thanks for including the feed info. I used .001 per rev feed using the power crossfeed on my 1959 Rockwell 10 inch bench lathe and your tool is simply amazing! Your experimenting and trial and error really paid off.

Just wanted to let you know that I have been using the cut off tool and
have the speeds and feeds figured out for my lathe.
THAT THING WORKS FANTASTIC!!!!
Thanks again, Stuart
